Our Practice Areas
Rawlins Law represents people who have suffered serious injuries caused by another person's negligence. Our practice covers the case types that affect California families most often.

Car Accidents
Car accidents leave people managing medical treatment, missed work, and complicated insurance claims at the same time. We represent drivers and passengers injured in collisions throughout San Diego and across California.
Truck Accidents
Truck accident victims often face severe injuries and a confusing web of corporate defendants and insurance policies. We represent people hurt in collisions involving commercial trucks, tractor-trailers, and freight carriers.
Motorcycle Accidents
Motorcycle crash victims frequently encounter bias and unfair fault arguments from insurance companies. We represent riders injured in collisions throughout California.
Pedestrian Accidents
Pedestrians struck by vehicles face significant physical harm and often find themselves blamed for the collision. We represent people injured while walking, crossing streets, or moving through parking areas.
Dog Bite Injuries
Dog bite injuries cause physical and emotional harm that affects adults and children alike. We represent victims of dog attacks seeking compensation through the responsible party's insurance.
Rideshare Accidents
Uber and Lyft accidents create confusion about which insurance policy applies and who pays. We represent injured passengers, drivers, and pedestrians affected by rideshare collisions.
Slip and Fall Injuries
A serious fall on someone else's property raises immediate questions about responsibility and medical costs. We represent people injured by dangerous conditions on commercial and residential properties.
Construction Accidents
Construction workers injured on multi-company jobsites often have legal options beyond workers' compensation. We represent workers and families dealing with the aftermath of serious jobsite injuries.
Wrongful Death
Losing a family member to someone else's negligence is devastating. We represent surviving family members pursuing wrongful death claims after a preventable loss.
Locations We Serve
Rawlins Law serves injured people throughout Southern and Northern California. From San Diego County communities such as Chula Vista and Escondido to Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange County, and Sacramento, the firm maintains a presence in the regions where clients live, work, and receive medical treatment.
Our statewide reach allows the team to provide local accessibility while maintaining the personalized approach that defines the firm.
How Rawlins Law Began
Ashley Rawlins knew she wanted to be a lawyer by age six. She still has a printout from a third-grade assignment where she wrote that becoming a lawyer was her goal.
Growing up in a small town in Western Massachusetts, she had no family members in the legal profession. The interest came from somewhere more personal: a drive to advocate for people and give a voice to those who felt unheard.
That early instinct carried through school, through competitive athletics, and eventually into a legal career focused entirely on representing injured people.
Ashley founded Rawlins Law as a female-owned California injury firm with a clear purpose. The firm exists to give clients the kind of representation she believed in long before she passed the bar: honest, accessible, and built around the client's needs rather than the firm's convenience.
What Sets Us Apart
Direct Access to Your Legal Team
Clients at Rawlins Law communicate directly with the people handling their case. Ashley provides her personal cell phone number to clients. Questions get answered. Calls get returned. Updates happen without clients having to chase them down.
Persistence That Comes From Preparation
Insurance companies send denial letters. They offer settlements that do not reflect the full scope of an injury. They delay, dispute, and deflect. Rawlins Law approaches those tactics with preparation and persistence.
A denial letter is not the end of the conversation. It is the beginning of a more thorough response backed by evidence, documentation, and a clear understanding of what the claim is actually worth.
Built Around the Client's Situation
Rawlins Law was designed to work around the realities of injury recovery, not the other way around. The firm's structure, availability, and communication style all reflect a belief that legal representation is most effective when it removes stress rather than adding to it.
Meet the Team
Ashley Rawlins leads the firm and maintains direct involvement in client cases. Her background in competitive athletics, including boxing, shaped her approach to legal work: disciplined, prepared, and persistent.
The legal team at Rawlins Law works collaboratively, with each member contributing to case preparation, client communication, and strategy. Clients have direct access to the attorneys and staff working on their case. Visit our team profiles to learn more about the people behind Rawlins Law.
Our Commitment to Clients
Most people who contact Rawlins Law are going through one of the most stressful periods of their lives. They are dealing with medical treatment, missed work, and insurance calls they did not expect. Many describe the same feeling: not knowing what comes next and wanting someone to explain the process in plain terms.
That experience is what Rawlins Law was built to address. Clients hear back when they reach out. They receive updates without asking. They get honest assessments of their case rather than vague reassurances. And they work with a team that treats their situation as a priority, not a number in a queue.
As one client described it: "She was right here with open arms and really made me feel a lot better." Another said simply: "They were just there for me, and that's an awesome feeling."
That is the standard Rawlins Law holds itself to on every case.
